At the 2012 Belle de Jour Fair

Last Sunday, I went to the Belle de Jour Fair at SM Mall of Asia with my sister. I hadn't been to a BDJ Fair before but I knew that there'd be a lot of booths and fun activities to try and also talks about beauty, fashion, blogging and more.

We arrived there around 5:30 pm. I thought wala na kaming maaabutan kasi hapon na but when we arrived, there were still a lot of people. Naturally, we went around the area and checked out what booths were there. Saw familiar brands like Goody PH, Vitress, Skin White, Parisian, Orly, LA Colors, Hygienix, Black Beauty, Browhaus, and also some that are new to my ears like Flipsters and Montagne Jeunesse, etc.

Days before the fair, I pre-registered for a talk but I didn't attend it anymore. Late na kasi ako nag pre-reg so hindi ko na naabutan 'yung talk na pinakagusto ko, at 'yung slot na nakuha ko ay para sa 7 pm talk na. Pero since kitang-kita naman 'yung stage from the booth area at rinig na rinig naman ang speaker, para ka naring um-attend kahit 'di ka nagregister. Hindi kasi closed 'yung talk area. I thought there's going to be a talk 'tent' pero wala.

Anyway, after looking around, we went to claim my BDJ prizes. I joined their Twitter and blog promo and I got two pink notepads as consolation prizes :)

We also bought BDJ Power Planners! All planners were on a 20% discount that day. We got ours for only P480 each, with Lifestyle Cards already.

We got VIP passes too so we could try these activities.

I didn't try it. Haha. But I had fun watching her climb. Too bad we weren't able to try the other activities. So many people in line! The queue for the wall climbing was surprisingly short when we were there.

We did get to visit some more booths, though, like Black Beauty's (where we had our pics taken at the photobooth. Ang loser ko dun sa pics. Haha.), Montagne Jeunesse's (where I registered my blog. Have you tried their masks? How are they?) and Flipsters' (where we learned to make origami hearts :))

Hmmm, I remember the times we were so into origami. My mom gave us booklets with instructions on how to create a lot of origami stuff. Imma go look for those later.

We decided to catch a movie at Trino so we stayed at the fair until 7 pm only.

And here's my take-home! The loot bag was heavy ah.

Lots of discount coupons, some product samples, magazines, snacks, my notepad prizes and my new BDJ Power Planner!

So excited to use it! I almost forgot that I won a limited edition BDJ Campus Planner from Zalora. Still waiting for that to arrive.

We watched Perks of Being a Wallflower after. I liked it. And not only because Logan Lerman was in it <3 I spent the first few minutes of the movie listening to his voice and remembering if he sounded like that in Percy Jackson. Haha. 'Twas a long but fun day. Currently reading the book now, by the way.
