Haul: Stila Giveaway Winnings (With Swatches)

Shoutout to my friend Cream Puff for the fab new blog header! :D 

Ok so here are my goodies from Sarah (of Ms. Eggplant's Chronicles). I won her super awesome Stila giveaway! You guys have to check out Sarah's outfit posts! :)

I am enjoying them already *super duper big smile*! My Stila winnings include the following.

First item - a limited edition travel palette.

Looks like a handy dandy... notebook! ( <---High five if you know where I got this from.)

I like that the mirror is useful, especially since this is a travel palette and all. And the shades are nice, too! This palette has four shadows and a lip-cheek convertible cream.

Since this palette is Tokyo-themed, the shade names are Japanese. Just look at the name of the black shimmery shade!

Stila describes Sake as beige with shimmer, Kawai as pink, Shibuya as blue, "Peace sign" as black shimmer, and Sakura as cherry blossom pink. I noticed, however, that Kawai has shimmer too. You can see that in the pics above and the swatches below. It doesn't appear as shimmery as Sake and "Peace sign," though.

All the shadows are nice and not chalky. I am in love with that black shimmer!

Onto the next item - the liquid lip color.

Stila described this shade as pale pink with a matte finish.

"Long-lasting lip color," check! I swatched this one on the back of my hand and after 15 hours, the color was still there. Not as vibrant, of course, but still a pretty good stain. I was amazed. The color was able to endure A LOT of handwashing.

I first thought it looked hot-pink(ish) in color. But then again, this product is for the lips, right? So I should be testing it on my lips. 

"Bold lips," check! Is that pale pink or what?! Nice Barbie pink shade! Now I am thinking of how I'm gonna sport this lip color. Any suggestions?

Now for the last item - a gel eyeliner/shadow.

At first I thought this was matte black but when I looked closer and swatched it, I found out that it also has shimmer.

I have road-tested this already and it stayed put on me for a good number of hours. Lovin' this one so much! :D
